Summary

These are tributes for Lenny "The Guv'nor" McLean from the men and women who he encountered on his journey through life. Lenny's trade was a violent one, and some of his friends were not on the right side of the law, but they all remember a man whose heart was as big as his fists were strong.

The Guv'nor Summary

The Guv'nor: A Celebration by Lenny McLean

Lenny "The Guv'nor" McLean's story is an inspirational one. A bare-knuckled fighter by profession, his life was dedicated to putting "steam on the table" for his beloved wife and kids, and to earning maximum respect from anybody who crossed his path. Fighter, gangster, businessman or ordinary man in the street - do right by the Guv'nor and you'd have a friend for life; betray him at your peril. These are touching tributes from the men and women that Lenny encountered on his journey through life. Lenny's trade was a violent one, and some of his friends may not always have been on the right side of the law, but they are all alike in remembering the same man whose heart was as big as his fists were strong.
