Summary
Port Royal, Jamaica 1703, and Matthew Loftus, young captain of the "Cornelius" is cheated by merchants over his cargo of timber, skin and horns. In desperate need of money, Matthew and his ship are forced into a plundering raid by the wily privateer, Sir Thomas Filligrew.
