This manual also includes illustrative case vignettes, session outlines and handouts, and homework reflection questions. Therapists and counselors will learn tools and interventions that they can apply immediately and effectively to their work with divorced couples.

Even in an environment of hurt and distrust, her approach helps co-parents find common ground to better raise their children. Mary L. Jeppsen, PhD, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist and licensed professional counselor who co-owns Fresh Roots Family Counseling in Rogers, Arkansas. She developed a co-parenting counseling model with the intention of assisting parents in developing healthy co-parenting relationships. Dr. Jeppsen is also a certified Daring WayTM facilitator in the work of Brene Brown.
