Amy's dad makes her go with him to Cornwall so that he can get on with his new job. The village is boring and the locals are all losers, apart from Rick. With rumours of strange experiments that went on in the mines and disgusting larvae things turning up that look like mutated maggots Amy and Rick decide to investigate.
