A young kitten, Gatita, gains knowledge and experience in the everyday from an older and more experienced cat, Gata, in this humorous Spanish-language picture book. When the topic of dogs comes up, Gata has quite a bit of information: they can be big or small, hairy or hairless, fast or slow. They can have unique features, such as spots or wrinkles or be solid or smooth. Gatita is confused; they sound very different from one another. How will she ever know when she comes across a dog? Gata reassures little Gatita and imparts some words of wisdom: todos son iguales. Theyre all really the same. This fun picture book is sure to find fans in readers who love dogs and cats, and is a great choice to explore opposites, as Gata and Gatita discuss dogs who are grandes, peludos, lentos, and much more. Children will also have fun watching as the group of dogs grows bigger and bigger, with the humorous illustrations providing each dog with a personality all their own.
