In 1976 patsy Bloom established her company, Pet Plan offering private animal health insurance policies to cover against accident, illness and mortality of pets. over the years Patsy kept many of the letters and stories, sent in by the owners along with the claims, relating the sometimes hilarious, sometimes touching antics of their pets. Here is a collection of the beat of those tales. All the royalties from the sale of the book go to the Pet Plan Charitable Trust which provides grants for the welfare of dogs, cats and horses by funding veterinary investigation and animal projects.
