About Salvatore Calabrese

Italian-born Salvatore Calabrese is one of the UK's most celebrated bartenders. As bar manager of the Lanesborough Hotel in London, he is a renowned cognac and cocktail expert. His palate has been described as the most expensive in the world and he nurtures the world's largest collection of vintage cognac. Jason Lowe's expert eye has won him international acclaim. His award-winning photography has embellished a number of titles covering topics ranging from meat to malt whisky, vineyards to caviar. He works with Simon Hopkins in the Independent and contributes to Conde Nast Traveller, Food and Travel and Waitrose Food Illustrated.
