About Stan Britt

Stan Britt has spent his career as a journalist writing about the music scene, and jazz, blues and Frank Sinatra in particular. He has written for many consumer and trade publications including Melody Maker, Jazz Journal International and Billboard. He was the jazz/blues correspondent for Music Week. Britt's other activities have included the compilation of over one hundred LPs, among them multi-box sets of recordings by Charlie Parker. His books include The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Jazz,
