This work offers reflections on the role of the Cathedral in contemporary society. On the one hand generally vast, hugely expensive to maintain, laden with traditional worship, on the other architectural treasures, loved by many, visited in droves by more tourists than pass through a parish church, what is their place in the unrolling future of the church?
