Two of the most famous complete Greek Bible manuscripts - the fourth-century Codex Sinaiticus and the fifth-century Codex Alexandrinus - are in the British Library. This illustrated introduction to early Bible manuscripts shows how a close examination of scribal practices and errors in copying the manuscripts can be used to reconstruct the earlier stages of the text's history.
