Summary

A tale of murder, revenge and the hidden secrets of the Pharaohs from the master storyteller, Wilbur Smith

The Seventh Scroll Summary

The Seventh Scroll by Wilbur Smith

Two archaeologists find themselves in a desperate race for ancient treasure in Wilbur Smith's fascinating tale of Egypt, The Seventh Scroll, read by actor James Fox.

Duraid Ai Simmu and his beautiful wife Royan were the first to discover the tomb of Queen Lostris and with it the scrolls in which was recorded the burial of Pharaoh Mamose with all his vast treasure

But as their present-day search for the treasure moves from the Nile to the uplands of Ethiopia a savage battle begins. For others will stop at nothing to claim the prize as their own.

When Duraid is brutally murdered Royan seeks refuge in England with eminent archaeologist Nicholas Quenton-Harper. With him she can find the courage to unlock the dreams of an ancient Pharaoh.
