About Wilfrid Scawen Blunt

Wilfred Scawen Blunt was a British diplomat, poet and writer. He was married to Byron's granddaughter, and was a friend and advisor to Winston Churchill and W.B. Yeats. He served as ambassador to the Middle East for ten years and, during that time, became a champion for the independence of the colonial states.
