Pages are rather marked with pronounced tanning and foxing, plus thumbing. Slight cracking and some slightly loose pages. Previous owner's inscription to front pastedown. Bookseller's sticker to front pastedown. A few dog-eared corners. All pages slightly creased and warped. Some intense foxing. Boards have heavy edge wear, with intense bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are very crushed and frayed. Joints worn too with splits. Scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Gilt is bright. Book has a heavy forward lean.
