1949. 315 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth half bound in black leather with gilt lettering. Inscription to front pastedown. Pages are in good condition with a firm binding. Endpapers and page edges are lightly tanned and foxed. Boards have been heavily rub worn with heavy shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and a heavily frayed and spine ends are crushed, with some small splits and chips. Splitting to spine joints and ends. Surface tears to leather. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. Water marks to boards and spine.
