Black and white illustrations and similar frontispiece with tissue guard. Ex library copy with associated labels, inserts and stamps. Pages bright with some tanning and foxing, particularly to textblock edges and endpapers. Some cracking to front hinge with exposed netting. Binding loose. Minor pencil annotations and some heavier marking to endpapers. Some pages with creasing and small tears. Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners and damage to spine ends. Spine heavily worn and deteriorating. Front board detaching.
