Previous owner's inscription to front free end-paper. Binding remains firm. Cracking to hinges, no damage to end papers. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Moderate crushing to spine ends, with splitting, fraying and loss to the head, tail and joints. Moderate tanning to spine. Gilt lettering has become dull.
