Previous owner's inscription (and not a very Zen one) to front free end-paper, along side an address label. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Unclipped jacket has heavy edge-wear with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing. Another inscription on the reverse of the back panel.
