Reaching for Reality by Alan Webster
The former Dean of St Paul's reflects on exciting events int eh past and present, and singles out significant areas of change in which he has been actively involved. The thought of Dietrich Bonhoffer about how human beings have come of age together with the rediscovery Julian of Norwich's spirituality have particularly influenced this path. Fruits of change have particularly been the Ordination of Women, and the Faith in the City movement, as well as the pastoral changes which have responded to the changes in society. Warfare has been a major concern of the century, and the chapter on the Falklands service is perhaps the most moving chapter in this book.
