A selection of lyrical and Gaelic poetry taken from the Carmina Gadelica, a collection of Gaelic poems and prayers. The Gaelic originals were handed down by oral tradition to the men and woman from whom Alexander Carmichael received them during his travels throughout the Scottish Highlands and Hebrides.
