About Alison Bisset (Associate Professor in International Human Rights Law, University of Reading)

Dr Alison Bisset is Associate Professor in International Human Rights Law at the University of Reading. She researches on transitional justice, with a particular focus on the operations of truth commissions, and has published widely in this area. Dr Bisset has worked with intergovernmental organizations, national armed forces and civil society actors on issues of international criminal law and transitional justice, and acted as a visiting lecturer at a range of institutions.
