About Allen G. Taylor

Allen G. Taylor (Oregon City, Oregon) is a Database Consultant and National Speaker. He is a 30-year veteran of the computer industry and the author of 20 computer-related books. He has held the following titles at various companies: E-Business Technical Services Director; Programming Group Manager; and Assistant Professor in Pacific University's Computer Science Department. Allen's previous published books include the following: SQL Weekend Crash Course (Wiley); SQL For Dummies (1st through 4th Editions, Wiley); Database Design For Dummies (Wiley); and dBase for Windows Solutions (Wiley). Virginia Andersen (Coronado, CA) has over 25 years experience working on computer science applications, analysis, and engineering that support government and defense projects.
