About Alycea Ungaro

Alycea Ungaro is the founder and director of the Pilates Center of New York - Tribeca Bodyworks, New York's largest Pilates centre. After a decade as a student of the Pilates method at the School of Ballet, Alycea became a certified Pilates instructor under the mentorship of Master instructor, Romana Kryzanowska, Joseph Pilates' chosen successor. Alycea has written two books on Pilates - Portable Pilates and Pilates: Body in Motion from DK. She lives in New York.
