Dangerous Obsessions: Teenagers and the Occult by Andrew Boyd
Investigates allegations made often in the Church in recent years that children are being drawn into harmful experimentation with the occult on an ever increasing scale. The book is divided into two parts, "Floundering in the Shadows" and "Into the Depths". The first section looks at seemingly innocuous entrances to the occult: astrology, tarot, ouija boards, spiritualism, transcendental meditation, the New Age, heavy metal and fantasy games. The second section considers magic "black" and "white", satanism and actual cases of ensnarement into harmful groups. The author draws strongly on American evidence and literature.
