About Andrew Chandler-Grevatt

Dr Andrew Chandler-Grevatt has a PhD in school assessment and is a Senior Lecturer in Science Education at the University of Brighton. Andy has written two Oxford Teaching Guides and developed the assessment model used throughout Activate and AQA Activate for KS3 Science and our GCSE Science courses. Deborah Shah-Smith is an experienced Science teacher, and Head of Biology, and has previously published several student books and teacher guides on working scientifically.
