Voices from Africa: Transforming Mission in a Context of Marginalization by Andrew Wheeler
Voices from Africa is written entirely by Africans and includes a series of vision statements from a number of Africa's Anglican leaders, including Archbishop Donald Mtetemela, Archbishop of Tanzania and Archbishop Njongonkulu of Cape Town, South Africa (Desmond Tutu's successor) as well as specially commissioned articles on issues such as the challenge of Islam, poverty, reconciliation and HIV and Aids. It also includes insights from women, children and refugees who reflect on their experience of marginalization. Voices from Africa seeks to engage with and learn from the experiences of the African Churches and challenges the reader to explore their own understanding of mission in the light of what we hear from Africa.
