Ann determined that her own marriage would be faithful and forever. In the 1960s, Ann fell in love with Ty, an African-American professional football player and artist. They spent over 25 years together, forging careers and raising children. As a psychotherapist, Ann also wrote a book on the joys of sexual monogamy. As the century drew to a close, Ann discovered her husband's affair, again forcing her to visit infidelity. The wheel had come full circle.

About Ann Pearlman

Ann Pearlman was born in Washington, D.C., and grew up in Pittsburgh and Chicago. She studied at the University of Pittsburgh, University of Iowa, and Case Western Reserve University. She is a marriage and family therapist in private practice and has written two books. The mother of adopted and biological children, Ann lives with her teenage daughter in an oak and aspen forest.
