In a career that spanned more than five decades, Ansel Adams was at once America's foremost landscape photographer and one of the country's most ardent environmentalists. This postcard book features photographs that appear in the centennial book "Ansel Adams at 100" and the accompanying touring exhibition of 2001/2002. The images in the book have been selected by John Szarkowski, the curator of the exhibition, and include mountainous landscapes, waterfalls, details of nature and near-abstract compositions of rocks and water.
