Summary
Archibald Thorburn is one of the 20th century's greatest wildlife painters. Wherever possible, he drew from life and his obvious affection for birds and animals shines. In addition to the 50 full-page colour plates, the text by Gordon Corbet is complemented by Thorburn's own pen-and ink-drawings.
