For knitters and crocheters this book is absolute joy.
If only just for the abundance of colour it is a spectacular collection of projects, that includes blankets, dolls, birds and cushions. Even an embroidered table mat, which is stunning is a project that I adored. It is so cute.
Arne and Carlos are famous names in the Knitting and Crochet community and their unique and signature designs, are beautifully presented with easy to follow instructions and wonderful pictures.
Set in sections, In the Playroom, Out in Our Garden and others, This gorgeous volume is filled to the brim with amazing projects to knit and crochet. You get a lot, and I mean a lot for you money.
The only problem will be choosing which to start first. It is brilliant, and would make a wonderful gift to someone who loves the art of wool crafting.
Arne and Carlos are two very inspirational people, They clearly love what they do and after 15 years of sharing and caring we too are able to indulge in their wonderful and stunning creations.
Absolutely perfect and worth more stars than I am able to give.

As a great fan of Arne and Carlos I really enjoyed reviewing this book. There is something for both knitters and crocheters. There is a good mix of patterns in the book from a Christmas bauble to an adult jumper and even a pattern for a dog coat. The photos inspire one with a backdrop of luscious colours and the charts are a good size and easy to read showing colourways as per the pattern. The projects vary in complexity so if you are new to colourwork start with one of the smaller items. The book would also be great for reference and ideas of different fair isle patterns that could be transferred to other projects. At the back of the book there is a small techniques section to help you learn or perfect a skill such as double knitting. Various yarns are used for the projects and you may need to substitute some for ones available in your country and https://yarnsub.com/ can help you to do this. I would happily add this book to my reference and potential projects library.
