Tenzin's Deer Reviews

Tenzin's Deer is a delightful book. This beautifully illustrated story of a young Tibetan boy's efforts to care for a wounded deer aptly reflect the compassionate and caring values pervading Tibetan culture. When we were free, we cultivated gentle and peaceful relations not only with our fellow human beings, but also extended the same kind of attitude towards our environment and the animals who naturally live in harmony with it. Tibet then was a zone of peace, I hope and pray it may be so again. -- HH The Dalai Lama HH The Dalai Lama
