American Higher Education: A Guide to Reference Sources by Betty Wai Geng Chan

Literature on American higher education has grown enormously. This volume is a guide to reference sources on higher education in America. The book contains entries for roughly 800 titles. Each entry includes a descriptive annotation. Included are books, monographs, government publications, and other reports. Entries are grouped in chapters according to type of reference work, such as bibliographies, dictionaries and encyclopedias, and directories. Within each chapter, general works are listed first, followed by others arranged by more specific topics, such as administration, collective bargaining, and comparative education.
