She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from Butler University, and completed a fellowship in Natural Product Information and Research at University of Missouri-Kansas City. She has practiced pharmacy in retail, community, and academic settings and has worked as a freelance medical writer.
Carolyn L. Stang is currently Vice President for Clinical Program Development at Caremark Inc. She has worked in hospital and community pharmacies, home health care, and the pharmaceutical industry. She holds a BS in Pharmacy from The Ohio State University, and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Tennessee, Memphis, and completed a fellowship in Family Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston.
