About BO130

The Don (aka Matteo Donini) was introduced to street art in the Nineties through his friendship with Microbo and Bo130. Fascinated by the movement he decided to travel to collect works by international street artists, and opened The Don Gallery in Milan in 2008. MICROBO was born and raised in Sicily, spending the 1990s in London where he studied and worked initially in the field of graphics and multimedia, and undertaking a collaboration with her future mate Bo130, with whom she organized, in Italy, some exhibitions become central to the underground movement. The organic universe of her works, now become part of international collections, places her production between the street art, graphics and illustration. BO130 was born and raised in Milan, before moving to London where he continued his studies at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, to graduate then in Graphic and Media Design at London College of Communication. Bo130 loves to experiment with different techniques (from painting to stencils, to stickers, to markers) to translate into images his inspirations, ranging from urban style, to music, to food, to sex, to graffiti. His works have been exhibited in Europe and America, often along with those of his partner Microbo.
