Rufus Breese and gun-totin' Eady 'Britches' Dix ride north across the Rio Grande to the town of Quemerado. On their arrival, the townsfolk are suspicious and judge the pair to be connected with an infamous outlaw group that was once headed by Ida Rose. And when a powerful rancher is found dead, Rufus and Eady are arrested and thrown in jail. Under threat from a lynch mob they must prove their innocence by fighting bushwhackers, ranchers and outlaws alike.
