The Country Diary Book of Flowers: Drying, Pressing And Pot Pourri by Carol Petelin
Written by the same author as "The Creative Guide to Dried Flowers" this book gives instructions for the drying of flowers and for their arrangement into posies and formal arrangements. It includes methods for the making of gifts from pressed flowers, which have been popular since Victorian times. The final section gives ideas for pot-pourri mixtures, lavender bags, and other gifts which make use of the lingering perfumes of the preserved flowers. It is illustrated with drawings from Edith Holden's "The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady". The author has also written "Poldark's Cornwall", "In The Shadow of Fujisan", "The Landscape of King Arthur" and "The Spirit of England".
