Figures in Watercolour (SBSLA25) Reviews

Issue 26, 2005

Even the most accomplished landscape artist can struggle when it comes to painting figures in watercolour. Carole Massey takes us through the step-by-step process of figure drawing and painting in a way that will ensure success for anyone. Her range of illustrations will help you get that figure right. I particularly liked the section on facial features - eyes, mouth, nose, ears - all with good examples. Hands and feet are explained clearly and her paintings of figures in a variety of settings are an asset to any artist.
