This is a biography of Dr Vicky Clement-Jones, daughter of a Hong Kong millionaire, her career as a doctor and researcher and her struggle against fatal cancer. Her will to live and her realization that not enough was done to help both sufferers and the families of those who were ill led her to create BACUP, an association which informs and helps people to cope with cancer. This biography is being published to coincide with the sixth anniversary of BACUP, which has a team of 14 nurses dealing with the 24,000 calls the association receives each year.
