About Chris Batten
Chris Batten's interest in ambulances arose from the time he spent in the St John Ambulance Brigate. He writes regular features on ambulances in the model press and is an active member of the British Ambulance Society, which is preserving ambulance history through photographs, uniforms, equipment and reminiscences of ambulance crews as well as collecting actual ambulances.
