Kirk takes his crew and a restocked Enterprise on a mission to save the universe from a galactic threat. Politics, prejudices and intrigues are cast aside as they unite with the Romulans and Klingons on this seemingly suicidal voyage, and Kirk has the chance to repay a debt of honour to his ship.
