The Headwork Programme Books 1, 2 and 3 are designed specifically for students working at the lower levels of Key Stage 3, as outlined in the Revised English Orders for the National Curriculum and in English Language 5-14 for Scotland. Each book is divided into 9 thematic units which contain resources and What to do activities that actively develop students' language skills across the Speaking and Listening, Reading, and Writing Profile Components, and introduce them to a wide range of literary and information texts.
