With Christmas quickly approaching, I'm sure many of us are turning our thoughts to decking the halls and putting up the tree - if you haven't already! If you're a crafter you know there is nothing more satisfying than hanging your own decorations each year, for you and your visitors to admire. This year, Annie's Craft Store and Search Press have brought out the most irresistible collection of stunning quilting projects for all abilities, that you will love making and hanging year after year! Christmas All Through the House is a bright and beautiful collection of 21 jolly Christmas decorations, from placemats and tea towels to festive wall hangings and sampler quilts. With such a wonderful collection of projects it is easy to find something that will work for all tastes and for all levels of ability. More importantly, all of the projects will be loved by the whole family, so you really can't go wrong! My favourite project in the book has to be this really cute `Joyful Mantel Scarf' which is adorable and would brighten up any mantel or cupboard. I have a shelving unit which is in desperate need of this! The project is broken down into really simple steps with useful diagrams to assist, so even absolute beginners can easily create these projects quickly and easily. In the centre of the book you can find the pull-out pattern sheets. These sheets contain the templates for all of the projects in the book, meaning that you just have to pull them out and get tracing and cutting, without the complicated task of having to resize anything! It is so easy to just get going with the project, which is good news since you'll want to make a start on the adorable decorations as soon as you get your hands on the book! So if you are in need of any last minute stocking fillers for your `crafty' friends and relatives, or maybe just a tempting treat for yourself, you really can't go wrong with Christmas All Through the House! You cannot help but smile at the cheerful projects and they will definitely inspire you to get out the sewing machine! With so many projects you just won't know where to start, but you can be sure that whichever one you choose will be getting lots of complements over the Christmas period! And because you can never start too early for Christmas, why not make a start on the projects now to gift at Christmas 2016? Anyone who receives one of the projects from the book is sure to be over the moon with it!

Decorate your home for the holidays with this book of twenty-one colorful contemporary quilting projects. Open the book and in the center is an insert containing all the patterns full size so you don't need a computer/printer/copier in order to begin the festive fun. The projects are all classed as confident beginner which I take to mean somebody au fait with sewing but not yet a quilter. At the front of the book is a useful guide to what you need to buy and why, plus some of the techniques you will be using, a few stitch diagrams and hints on quilting and finishing. All the projects go well together, and are in a cheerful modern style. Santas, snowmen, wreaths, presents, trees and owls adorn wall hangings, table decorations, coasters, mug mats, tree decorations and more. This is a well laid out book featuring colored diagrams and easily readable short steps, large photographs showing the finished items in situ for each item as well as size, what you need and a cutting guide. For a book of patterns this is a surprisingly beginner friendly book that will show quilting tyros the basics while providing a houseful of fun attractive holiday decorations.
