About Chris Powling

He's taught at all levels in the state school system, from infants to postgraduates. Throughout his career, Chris has had a rich and diverse involvement with children's books. In 1996 he won the Eleanor Farjeon Award for services to children's literature and now serves on numerous prize committees. Chris lives in South London with his family.
