Facilitators and trainers are encouraged to adopt and adapt the tools used in this book - tools that include card sorts, stories, myths, case studies, film analysis and personal stories from the author.

About Christine Hogan

Dr Christine Hogan is a professional facilitator, educator and author. She is committed to helping people to learn how to facilitate and to enhance innovations in facilitation through reflective practice, networking and research. Christine Hogan consultancy work in Australia, Asia and the Pacific focuses on personal, organisational and community development. Christine has worked in Kiribati (in the Pacific), Lao PDR, Bhutan, Myanmar, Mongolia, Nepal and Hong Kong. She is now an Adjunct Associate Professor with the Centre for Human Rights Education at Curtin University of Technology. Previously, she was a Senior Lecturer in Human Resource Development in the Curtin Business School. Christine Hogan her spare time Christine makes jewellery, paints on silk, learns Spanish and plays traditional English folk music on a hammered dulcimer and accordion with the "Band of Hope and Glory". Chris also enjoys travelling, bush walking and dancing. Christine would welcome feedback and dialogue about ideas in this book.
