Empowerment is a term which has grown in use in community development and the business world. This volume seeks to detail the processes which individuals and groups can use in order to develop. It includes numerous exercises which are designed to enable adult learners to analyze their past experiences; change accepted definitions of power and empowerment; and develop strategies to address problems and projects in a more empowered way.
