About Claire Macdonald

Claire Macdonald co-founded the Michelin-starred Kinloch Lodge hotel at Sleat on the Isle of Skye. Claire is a patron of Scottish Food Fortnight and The Association of Scottish Farmers' Markets. She was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award for her contribution to Scottish food by the National Farmers' Union and the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland in 2011. Claire has used her wealth of knowledge from these experiences to author the Pitkin title Scottish Cookery.
