The Leap Reviews

Review by Angela HutchinsonSpirit-Works.netIn THE LEAP, author Constance Kellough expresses a hope for the future; an evolutionary leap of spiritual development for our planet. To hear there is hope and that the movement forward is happening right now is both exciting and heartening. Finally, there is a fresh, new perspective on what our planet can and will be. The author is not a naive, Pollyanna type, she realizes the ravages and atrocities happening in the world today, however, Kellough views an opposite movement taking place as well. "...for the first time in our history, a new spiritual consciousness is rapidly emerging that is broad-based, planet-wide, non-sectarian, and inclusive of all. This higher level of consciousness is based on the realization that humans are essentially spiritual beings whose true nature is rooted in love." THE LEAP offers numerous, invaluable insights into spiritual evolution and consciousness. The author clearly knows that of which she speaks and the resulting clarity she extends to the reader is greatly welcomed and appreciated. The book contains 36 practices to deepen your own development as it ultimately affects global growth."...we are the transition generation-the ones to go beyond humanity's current repetitive insane acts and bridge to a more humane world. We don't have the time to wait for a subsequent generation to turn things around. As the Hope Elders have so clearly reminded us: 'We are the ones we have been waiting for'."Kellough expresses a need to see and recognize our oneness with the world. Our separateness is what has kept us in a state of a perpetual, egoic struggle. We must learn the art of stillness if we are to move past reactionary behavior and toward the Divine Self. "When you live from Presence, you live from a higher state of consciousness. Because of this, you are connected to and can feel the Presence in everyone and everything. You come to see the other as yourself, and it is in this realization that our salvation lies." Stillness brings us to our true selves. We learn that we are perfect as we are and that we do not require anything outside of ourselves to find peace or happiness. This is where our true Power lies. Kellough refers to this presence from stillness as the "Inner Knower". She goes on to describe the many attributes of a Divine mind and frankly, it is the key to a global salvation. The solution cannot be on the same level as the problem, Einstein once mused. This Leap is a leap of spiritual awareness and awakening. We have to muster the courage to look at our own light in a world that is used to darkness. "Self love is the great healer, but our conditioning blocks the soothing flow of the love that we are...When you start to embrace your whole self and allow yourself to feel the unconditional love that is your very essence, you discover that you are not and never have been separate from the love Presence that permeates the universe."Through the included practices, we can begin to enter a deeper consciousness. We begin to feel the divine Self move and breathe. We recognize who we truly are. The Planet cannot stay the same when we witness for one moment our true identity. It will bring global changes based upon "noble intentions". Kellough is on to something. Gone is the thought that it cannot be done, this is simply an illusion that we have bought into. Spirit is capable of moving mountains and parting seas. When we feel through the heart of our divinity, we will be transformed. THE LEAP is happening right now at this very moment. There are some who are recognizing what is and always will be. Are you ready to take THE LEAP and live the life you were always meant to live?If you are, this book will introduce and guide you to basic spiritual principles that will empower you to look in the mirror and recognize the light that eternally is.
