Climb Every Mountain by Craig Caldwell
Since the sport of Munro-bagging (climbing all Scottish peaks over 3000 feet high) was invented, enthusiasts have sought new ways to tackle the challenge. Craig Caldwell's was to climb all the Munros and all the Corbetts (separate peaks over 2500 feet) in one self-propelled journey, using only his feet, his bicycle and the necessary ferries. He announced his intentions in advance, using the publicity to raise a substantial amount of money for charity. Despite the wettest Scottish summer this century, the ambition was fulfilled, and this is Caldwell's account of the 13-month journey, complete with humorous anecdotes as well as hints for climbers and walkers everywhere.
