About Dan Boyle

Dan Boyle, TD for Cork South Central, was the first Green Party candidate to have been elected to Cork City Council. Born in Chicago, USA of Irish emigrant parents, he has lived in his mother's native Cork since he was 8 years of age. He has worked in community youth work, in disability work, in social housing, in arts administration and as a researcher and policy consultant for the Green Party in Dail Eireann and the European Parliament.
