About Dan Smith

Dan Smith is a Senior Adviser and former Director of the International Peace Research Institute in Oslo, Norway. He is author of The State of the World Atlas. His other books include Pressure: How America runs NATO. He is also the author of three crime novels. In 2002 Dan Smith was awarded an OBE.
