Early English Intercourse with Burma, 1587-1743 and the Tragedy of Negrais by David George

First Published in 1968. This second edition includes the 'Tragedy of Negrais' as a new appendix. Originally published in 1928 for the University of Rangoon and the sequel three years later- 'Tragedy of Negrais' as a journal for the Burma Research Society. During the Japanese occupation of Burma from 1942 to 1945 unsold copies were lost or destroyed.
