David McGee is the senior editor of the recording industry trade publication Pro Sound News, country music editor for barnesandnoble.com, and was an assistant curator for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. He is a veteran Rolling Stone contributor and is represented in all four editions of the Rolling Stone Album Guide. His album liner notes projects include the 2003 release, Martin Scorsese Presents the Blues: B.B. King, notes for a solo piano album by Mac Dr. John Rebennack, and timeline and artist profiles for Sony's 25-CD box set celebrating the 100th anniversary of Columbia Records.
